The Truth

As much as the truth may hurt some people, I find it liberating as a mug; especially when it's what you've been searching for. I'm always striving to stand on the side of truth even if it's against myself. Sometimes that is difficult, but it is necessary because truth will always be the victor.

So, if you are passing through, please post something that is true.

That's all I have to say for now.

here's one of the few things in life i know is true: the truth hurts like HELL.

a couple of notable times when people told me "the truth," it has stung me in a way that decades later, i am still smarting from.

sorry, but i've learned to use it sparingly in relationships that matter.

It is true that I woke up at 3:30 this morning just to get a jump on my day.

And it is true that I am going through yet another transition and that I'm feeling uneasy about a few things.

Which might explain why I'm up at 3:30 in the morning, unable to sleep.

Viqi - I does hurt. I've had my share of truth that stung and is still stinging. But, if it is really the truth, its kinda like a tornado, within the wind and chaos, there is the peace of the eye of the storm and that is strongest element. It does hurt.

Goddess - This is me. I understand the uneasiness of transition all too well. But, I suppose this point in my life I need a huge transition, things have been the same for too long. Transition is like a clensing, a detox. Hope u get some sleep!

I like your blog. Transition is an uncomfortable place to me from my standpoint. I'm ok with change, but not knowing or not knowing what to do; being immoblized is definitely not a good place to be.

Transition can be very tough. Being immobile just plain ole sucks, I hate those situations, but they seem to always lurk around the smooth times.

Miss Laylah, Queen:
Liked that post. My one truth ( the thing I most hate to admit): I really don't know everything, like I think I do.
